It was an honor to attend the Buffalo Nation powwow. Camping there with the zoo above us on the hill was an amazing experience. The evening drumming and singing seemed to have called in the rain. Falling asleep to thewolves howling, the thunder, singing and drumming was like an an ancient memory. To awaken each morning seeing the buffalo messengers above us on the hill was peaceful and renewed the purpose for being there. Hawk and Justina created a historical and memorable gathering.
